Beautiful and cozy home. Would definitely book again!

We attended this stay during a snowy weekend and had a great time. There’s plenty to do in the house alone in case you get snowed in. There’s also plenty to do in the area. The owners are very welcoming and responsive. They also live right across the street. Overall, the house was very cozy and warm and we’d definitely book this house again.

Great stay

Stayed for 2 nights with 2 little kids and we all had a great time. The property is exactly as it appears on the listing , everything on the listing - hot tub, pool/ping pong table/treadmill etc - are in perfect working order. John and Ada are wonderful and communication was a breeze. We really enjoyed exploring the frozen lake and everything this lovely location has to offer. An added bonus were the deer, two cats and two birds that are pretty much at home at the chalet. Great family weekend

Beautiful lakefront property

We had an amazing time in this beautiful lakefront property. John and Ada are very friendly and responsive hosts. The check in and check out were seamless. We kayaked, used the bikes, relaxed around the fire pit. Everything was made for guests in mind. We all enjoyed this property immensely and want to come back. Thank you!

Great house and lots to do!

I spent about a week at the house with some friends and it was a great break from being in NYC! Right under a two hour drive, easy to get to and John & Ada we’re super friendly and helpful. The house itself is open and has everything you need to relax or keep busy. The kayaks and fire pit were really fun and the size of the lake is nice and there’s a lot of animals out and about and nearby activities if you’re looking to get out of the neighborhood for a bit.

A beautiful getaway!

John and Ada were amazing! Their hospitality for our stay was by far some of the best we've received. They made sure we were comfortable and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The property, situated right on the lake, made it perfect to sit and enjoy the sunshine from the deck; easy to kayak/boat right off the shore; and fish from the rocks! The kids had so much fun out on the lake exploring and sitting by the campfire at night making smores. Thank you for a great vacation for making new memories!

Nice lakefront vacation home

My family was very happy with this vacation home. Located in quiet, gated community with very little noise. House is as is in the pictures. Nice views of the water from every room. Kitchen well stocked with plates, glasses, paper towels. John was on hand to walk thru the house on arrival and departure. What few questions we had, he responded back quickly. He even gave us some corn to feed the friendly deer that come by in the evening. Plenty of golf courses nearby, played twice during our stay. Shop Rite is located 15 minutes away so stocking up on food was convenient. The kayaks, row boat and paddle boat were all used often (no motor boats on lake). One note, a previous review noted only one air conditioner upstairs. We stayed during what was the hottest week in August. Between the upstairs air conditioner and one in living room, the house stayed at a very comfortable temperature. We will be back, which says it all. Thanks John and Alda for making our stay great.

Beautiful weekend on the lake

We enjoyed our long weekend here. The house was great and had everything we needed. The views from the house are beautiful. We used the kayaks and boats everyday and were visited by ducks and deer daily. John and Ada were very friendly and made sure our stay was great. We would stay here again..

Great getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lake was great and it was a nice change of scenery for our family. We fished and kayaked everyday. We only wish we caught more fish!

Perfect get away vacation

The views from this property are just amazing, just as pictured. The house is beautiful and has literally everything you need for a trip away from Home. Both ada and John were helpful with anything we needed and were only a phone call away with any questions. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our vacation . Thanks for everything!

Great weekend getaway

I stayed at John and Ada’s place for a weekend in May with family/friends. The place is very nicely situated right on the lake. It is equipped with a boat , kayaks, fire pit, indoor fire place and outdoor grill. The Xbox and pool table were a nice touch. There was ton of things to do and ample space to relax. John and Ada were very accommodating and incredibly nice. We had a wonderful time and found it very hard to leave. We will definitely stay here again!
